Questions To Consider:
1. Read Ephesians 5:1-14. What in this passage sticks out to you? What questions do you have?
2. Paul calls the church to "Be imitators of God, as dearly loved children." What does this mean? In what ways are we called to imitate God?
3. Why is it important that Paul includes the phrease, "...as dearly loved children?"
4. What aspects of Jesus' character or actions stand out most clearly to you as revealing what God is like?
5. Read verses 3-7. Paul connects greed and sexuality together. Why do you think Paul connects these two things? What do both reveal about the human heart and its desires?
6. In verses 8 & 9 Paul calls the church to live as children of light. What would it look like practically for Christians to "shine" in today's culture with truth and compassion?
7. It was mentioned that "You become what you behold." What are you currently beholding most consistently in your life, and how might it be shaping you spiritually, emotionally and relationally?
