THIS SUNDAY - This week in Galatians will be looking at chapters 5:16-26. What are the works of the flesh and what is the fruit of the Spirit? Why are they at war with one another and how do we walk in step with the Spirit? Come join us in person at 10 a.m. or watch online at Church Online.

BAPTISM - There will be another baptism this Sunday, so please come out and celebrate with us as another life is transformed by the power of Jesus!

COMMUNION VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - We need some volunteers for the communion ministry for this coming year. If you are interested, please sign up by the sheet passed around during the service or email the office for more information.

MISSING ITEM - Since the potluck last Sunday Dennis and Miriam Lawrence have misplaced their white laundry basket that they used to bring their food in. If you have any information where it is please let them know.

MUELLER BABY SHOWER - We're reaching out with heartfelt gratitude for your commitment to join us in celebrating the imminent arrival of Graeme and Karynn Mueller's adorable triplets. There will be a baby shower at CFBC on Saturday, February 3rd at 2:00 pm that will have lots of food, games, and fun to be had by all at this Jack and Jill baby shower (The guys are welcome). A few ways you can support the Mueller family:
1.    Diaper raffle - For each pack of diapers (any size, any brand) that you bring to the baby shower, you'll receive a raffle ticket.
2.    Meal train - Starting from 33 weeks until 40 weeks gestation, we invite you to sign up for the Meal Train. Your contribution can be a home-cooked meal, a restaurant delivery, or any other convenient option that suits you.
3.    Grocery Support - We're also organising a weekly grocery pick-up and drop-off service for common items like milk, butter, bread, eggs, and cheese. If you'd like to participate in this aspect of support, please let us know, and we'll coordinate the details with you.
4.    Gift Ideas - Additionally, for those interested in a group gift option, We are planning to get a triple stroller for Graeme & Karynn. If you want to contribute you can make an e-transfer to edorie@hotmail.com or we have a registry on MyRegistry.com. 

ROKEBY MISSION UPDATE - We pray that this letter finds you starting off the new year well. We have arrived in Japan and the Lord answered your prayers throughout the journey. Up until the night before, heavy rains were forecast for the morning of our departure. But, blue sky emerged as we loaded vehicles with our luggage. Thank the Lord for a flight in dry clothes! Next week, we will begin the process of finding a permanent home and minivan. Please pray that we will get settled soon, so that we can start language studies and choose a partner church. Read more
