THIS SUNDAY - We will be beginning a new series: How to Live out the Beatitudes. We are beginning with Jesus’ teaching on murder and anger. How does the way that we speak about someone reveal what is in our hearts? Please come join us in person at 10 a.m. or watch online at Church Online.

MOTHER’S DAY REMINDER - This coming Sunday, May 12th will be Mother’s Day. To all the people who need a reminder to celebrate the wonderful women in our lives: mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, stepmothers, mothers-in-law, foster moms, bonus moms, other mothers, aunts, wives, partners, sisters, friends, fellow moms, mentors, and women who love with a mother’s heart. We are thankful for everything you do for us. This Sunday we will be celebrating Mother’s Day, hope to see you there!

BABY BOTTLE CAMPAIGN - Once again, the CFBC Caring Ministry (as part of our ongoing Benevolence Initiatives), humbly encourages all those who call CFBC “home” to consider joining us as we come alongside ADVOKATE LIFE & EDUCATION SERVICES in their “ANNUAL BABY BOTTLE CAMPAIGN”! Beginning this coming Sunday (Mother’s Day), baby bottles will be available for you to SIGN OUT, take home, and fill with loose change/paper money/cheque, or, you can fill out the form inside the bottle which gives instruction on how to donate using your credit card (online). All baby bottles must be returned by the last SUNDAY of June (30th).  Whenever you return your baby bottle, please ensure you give it directly to Becky Gairns (and NOT back into the basket from which you picked up your empty baby bottle). All funds raised will go directly to supporting vulnerable women and families in Prince George facing unplanned pregnancies. Thank you, in advance, for choosing to be Christ’s Heart ♥ in our community! - Becky Gairns

PLAN TO PROTECT TRAINING - On Monday, June 10th from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm, there will be a training session for all the new volunteers that signed up for the nursery ministry and club DJ (pizza will be provided). NESS LAKE FAMILY WORK WEEKEND - We are so excited to welcome you and your family to our annual Family Work Weekend on May 17-20, 2024! You help us accomplish so much in such a short time period!  We have opened our tenting and RV spots for those who would like to come out in their own accommodations again this year!  There are limited spots for cabin, RV and tenting, and unlimited spots for those who do not need accommodations (plan to commute out). We provide meals, and tools (if you choose to bring out speciality tools that's great, but please label them and keep track of them) and you provide the work.  There is no cost to register for Family Work Weekend. Confirmation emails will be sent a couple of weeks before the session with more details including specific times. However, we can tell you that our weekend begins after dinner on Friday and concludes midday on Monday. Sunday is a day set aside for play and worship. Please Note: All campers under 19 must be accompanied by an adult.
