THIS SUNDAY - We are finishing our Godly Living series in 2 Peter. We will be looking at the call to remember the Word of God as well as why the second coming seems to be delayed. Come join us in person at 10:00 am or online at:  Church Online.

BRISKET POTLUCK REMINDER - There will be a potluck this coming Sunday, June 1st, and we will be having brisket beef dip sandwiches. We are asking if you can contribute by bringing salads, buns, and or desserts. Anything would be appreciated! The theme will be Dad’s favourite food? In honour of Father's day this month. We will need volunteers to help this Sunday, so please reach out to Andre Sharf Email Andre 

SPRING PLANNING MEETING - This coming Sunday, June 1st, our Spring Planning Meeting will be after the service during our potluck time. If you are a member, please consider coming so we can make quorum but all are welcome to attend the meeting as well.

TROY & ALAYSIA BAPTISM - On Sunday, June 8th, after church in the park service, we will be heading to West Lake for a couple of baptisms. If you or anyone you know is also interested in getting baptised, please reach out to Jason by email. We have rented out a picnic shelter on the east side of the beach (Shelter one on the provincial park map at West Lake) for the day. Please bring your own picnic lunch and meet us at noon; the baptisms will start at 1pm.

CHURCH IN THE PARK - Will be on Sunday, June 8th, 10:30 am at Lheidli T’enneh Park Bandshell. Church service won’t be happening at our regular time and location, so come join us for this awesome service with churches around our community! Bring your own lawn chair; there will be bouncy castles for kids after the service and food trucks where you can buy lunch. If you want to sit with our church, everyone can try to sit on the right side (south-west of the bandshell), looking at the bandshell where the speakers will be. CFBC WILL BE CLOSED THAT DAY!

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR OUT OF OFFICE - Our office administrator, Chelsea Martin, will be on vacation this coming June between June 14th to June 23rd. If you have any urgent questions or concerns, please contact Jason McAllister by phone or email, and double-check check the office is open before coming in please. Feel free to email the office, but do not expect an immediate response until June 24th at the earliest. 

WALK IN THE SPIRIT OF RECONCILIATION - May 30, 31 & June 1 - Walk in a group or with family & friends. There are routes for various skill levels from Fort Langley to St. Mary’s and group walks.; Okay, you don’t live in the Fraser Valley – do a solidarity walk in your own neighbourhood.; Attend a learning event! LOST ITEM - Two Bibles have been found, please check with the office if you have lost yours. 

EADIE MISSION UPDATE - As I write this we are just a few hours from moving our bags from a hotel to the airport in Denpasar to leave Indonesia and travel back to Canada. We'll be arriving in Calgary where we will pick up some wheels (thank you to MAF Canada) and then make our way to Revelstoke. Our road trip plans will also bring us to Kamloops, Vancouver, the Sunshine Coast, Prince George (and other?) We are looking forward to connecting with some of you along the way! Read More Here.

LAWN MOWING SIGN UP SHEET - STILL NEED PLENTY OF VOLUNTEERS! There is a lawn mowing sheet that we will be passing around during the service to help us take care of the church grounds. There are lots of slots still open, if you have the time this summer to help out please sign up or ask for the sign up sheet.

BABY BOTTLE CAMPAIGN - CFBC is once again joining with many other churches and organizations to partner with Advokate’s (P.G. Hope for Women)’s Annual Baby Bottle Campaign!  This will be CFBC’s Caring Team Ministry’s Benevolence Initiative from Mother’s Day to and including Father’s Day 2025.  (May 11-June 15).  Please plan on picking up (signing out) a baby bottle (located in the church foyer), filling it with your loose cash or a cheque and returning it by June 15th. Each baby bottle is numbered and must be signed out on the form provided. You can also donate online at baby bottles.ca

CFBC NEWSLETTER - If you know of someone who is new to the church, ask them if they signed up for our newsletter? Which can help them stay up to date with the church events and updates. Let them know they can sign up by talking to Chelsea Martin or by emailing office@centralfellowship.ca 

MEMBERSHIP  - If you are interested in membership or have questions as to what membership is all about, please speak with someone from the Leadership Team. To put it briefly, membership fulfils our obligation as a non-profit, but more importantly it speaks to our commitment to one another and allows each member to hold one another accountable to biblical principles.
