THIS SUNDAY -  we will begin our celebration of Advent. Read Luke 1:26-38 and focus on Mary’s response to the news that she will bear the Christ child. What do you make of her reaction? THE LEADERSHIP TEAM wanted to share a quote from the book they’ve been reading entitled: Canoeing The Mountains. “Conceptually stuck systems cannot be unstuck simply by trying harder.” As you hear this quote and think about the future of CFBC, what sort of things come to mind? Please share your thoughts with the Leadership Team as they would love to discuss it. 

SMALL GROUPS - we had a Small Group leaders meeting this past week that was encouraging. This year we have 7 groups with roughly 55 people involved! The Leadership Team is committed to building a library of resources and study materials for the church to access, so keep an eye open for this! If you are not involved in a small group already and would like to be, our groups are always open.

FINAL 2025 CARING TEAM BENEVOLENCE INITIATIVE runs till December 12.  All Benevolent Fund donations will go to support the Salvation Army’s Christmas Food Hamper Program.

EADIES send Christmas greetings: Hello all! Hard to believe December is just around the corner! We want to pass on to you our family newsletter with some stories from Papua, please see attached. HONDURAS MISSIONS OPPORTUNITY - February 2026. Wendy Graham is organizing another mission outreach to Honduras that will take place February 10-18, 2026. If you are interested, please pick up an information/ application package in the foyer, and/or speak to Wendy after the Sunday service. The deadline for applications is December 1.

GIVING - One of the ways we get to worship God is through giving. We worship when we give our hearts back to God through singing his praises, when we surrender our will to God’s ultimate design for our lives through prayer, and when we offer our tithes to Him for His glory through giving.
