THIS SUNDAY - we will begin our celebration of Advent. Read Luke 1:26-38 and focus on Mary’s response to the news that she will bear the Christ child. What do you make of her reaction? Additionally, how do we trust God in the midst of uncertainty? Come join us in person at 10:00am or at Church Online.
3RD ANNUAL DADDY DAUGHTER DANCE will be held at CFBC on January 9 from 6:00 pm-9:00 pm. Tickets are selling fast so contact Emilie Dorie to secure yours today!
THE LEADERSHIP TEAM wanted to share a quote from the book they’ve been reading entitled: Canoeing The Mountains. “Conceptually stuck systems cannot be unstuck simply by trying harder.” As you hear this quote and think about the future of CFBC, what sort of things come to mind? Please share your thoughts with the Leadership Team as they would love to discuss it.
SMALL GROUPS - we had a Small Group leaders meeting this past week that was encouraging. This year we have 7 groups with roughly 55 people involved! The Leadership Team is committed to building a library of resources and study materials for the church to access, so keep an eye open for this! If you are not involved in a small group already and would like to be, our groups are always open.
