THIS SUNDAY -  We will be studying our next value: Serving. In what ways are we called to serve others? What model did Jesus set for us? Read Luke 10:25-37 in preparation and think of ways you   can serve and love those God has placed in your life. Come find out as you join us in person at 10:00am or at Church Online.

POTLUCK & ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING - Our annual AGM will be held this Sunday, October 19 immediately following the service. This is a time when we reflect on the previous ministry year, vote on the upcoming budget, and celebrate what Christ will be doing in the coming year. Watch your email this week for the AGM package. Contact the office if you need a printed version. Please read it and pray over the agenda and budget in preparation for attending the meeting. All are welcome to attend. Members can vote on the motions presented. We will be having a potluck after the morning service, please bring a dish to share.

MISSIONS UPDATE - Ben Eadie reports: This past Friday was a tough day. As you know, we support a number of schools in isolated interior villages in Papua. On Friday a young teacher from one of the interior schools we support was attacked outside of her village. Read more  here and keep the Eadies and the MAF family in Indonesia in your prayers as they go through this difficult time.

NESS LAKE BIBLE CAMP - Prince George Friend-Raising Dessert Night is on Nov 14 at 6:00 pm. Stay and mingle until 8:30 pm at Westwood Mennonite Brethren Church. Register here.

CHRISTMAS SHOEBOXES - We realize it’s early in the year but we’re looking to get a headstart on Christmas shoeboxes. If you’re interested please pick one up in the foyer!

GIVING -  Maybe we aren’t technically required to give exactly 10% of everything we earn. Jesus never wanted us to be legalistic about how we donate. After all, God loves a cheerful giver—we should be doing this out of a love for Him, rather than any obligation. Giving is a privilege. Giving may be done via eTransfer or give online.
