SUNDAY SERVICES - we are delighted to move back to in person services this Sunday, January 23rd. Masks will be required at all times except for when a person is up front speaking or when a soloist is singing. SMALL GROUPS - Praise God! We know of 37 people who are regularly attending a small group. Let’s stay connected. We encourage you to continue to meet, spur one another on and pray for one another.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY - Karen Walkey is planning to make in-person Sunday School available starting January 30. For this week, we can continue to check out Village Kids Online for 2-4 year olds and for K- Grade 3. Village Kids.
SEARCH TEAM - Continue to pray for discernment and wisdom for the Team and for the current candidate. A second interview with the entire Search Team is scheduled for this Sunday, January 23rd.
UNDERSTANDING DEPRESSION - Every week we will add a link to download a brief article to help us understand depression. This week’s article is “Unpacking the Stigma of Depression”. For many people, recognizing and admitting to feeling depressed still carries a stigma, a kind of shame… Particularly in the Christian community, it seems people have heard the message that depression is a result of not praying enough, having enough faith or serving God enough - “good Christians don’t get depressed”.
