SUNDAY – We welcome everyone to worship with us and hear Pastor Jason continue the series “Encounters with Jesus”. There is Sunday School for children ages 3 to Grade 3.  Sermon notes will be available for download on Sunday for personal and small group use at Sermon Notes. Our online service is available at Church Online.

SPRING PLANNING MEETING - is scheduled for June 5 following the Sunday morning service and potluck lunch.

LAST CALL for our May Benevolence Initiative, which is food for The Little Blue Pantry. Please drop off your donations of non-perishable food items in the church kitchen or designate your offering to “Benevolent Fund”.  

SPRING WORK BEE is being planned for June 3 from 7 to 9 p.m. and June 4 from 9 to 4 p.m.  We need your help. The biggest task will be to repair the ramp and patio area. Food will be provided on Saturday. Contact Neil Unger for details.

INTERVARSITY UPDATE Cristyn Bergen writes, “On April 28th, Brad and I took down a group of students to Thetis Island to work through the book of 1 Corinthians. Over the week, we learned well the beauty of leaning on one another, embracing our weaknesses, leaning on our different strengths and trusting in the work of the Holy Spirit…One of the challenges they left with was the question, how can you use your relationship to build up the community?”  Read more at Bergen Newsletter

BABY BOTTLE CAMPAIGN (Mother’s Day through Father’s Day) We’re half-way through the Baby Bottle Campaign to support Hope for Women Pregnancy Services (Advokate Life). Thanks to all those who picked up their bottle. For more info, visit the table in the lobby or head online to babybottles.ca.

WALK FOR LIFE on Saturday, May 28, from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. This First Annual Prince George Walk for Life is a free, family-friendly, community walk that supports the work of Advokate Life & Education Services. Walkers invite their friends and family to sponsor their 5K or 10K walk and to join them at Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park as they complete their walk and to enjoy some fun, food, and games as well. All funds go directly to bringing hope to women and families through pregnancy counselling and resources, after birth support, post abortion care, and community education.
