OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY - Would you take a turn to pick up bread on Fridays at 7:00 p.m. from Cob’s Bread Bakery and deliver it to St. Vincent de Paul? Contact the office.

OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE THE CHURCH as the Communion Coordinator. You would purchase communion supplies and schedule people to prepare and clean up communion elements for one service a month. We already have two volunteers, so this may only involve serving once every three months. Contact the office.

REMINDER to members to review the meeting minutes for errors and omissions. They were emailed on October 21.

CARING MINISTRY - Bring new or used cold-weather wear to the church by Sunday, October 30. It will be distributed to the vulnerable during PG’s winter. Monetary donations are greatly appreciated and all funds marked “Benevolence” in October will be used to purchase gently used winter wear.

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR ADVENTURE? A mission with a purpose? A time to put your faith into action?  Then join the team!  Wendy Graham is organizing another missions outreach to Sapadril, Honduras from February 19 to March 2, 2023.   If you want more information, talk with Wendy and pick up an information/application package in the foyer. 

NESS LAKE BIBLE CAMP’S Friend-Raising Dessert Night is on November 4, at Westwood Church. Childcare is available. It’s an evening to look back at an amazing summer, hear about what the camp is doing now and partner with NLBC in moving into the next year of ministry.  nesslakebiblecamp.com 

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD - pick up your shoeboxes at the back of the church. Fill and return them by November 13. Contact Cathy Joyce with any questions or go to Operation Christmas Child.
