Dear Church Family,
Karynn was able to assemble and deliver a beautiful and generous ‘gift basket’ for the Daykins last Sunday evening. Thank you Karynn for your great idea and all your work organizing it, and to those who generously contributed!!
As a church we were able to attend the online Northstar Church service in Quesnel. Afterwards, about 11 of us logged in for a zoom session with our own church family. It was so good to see familiar faces! We encourage everyone who can to take part in both of these on an ongoing basis on Sunday mornings.
Patti has created a link to Right Now Media on our CFBC webpage under Ministries. Be sure to check out some of the great studies and videos there for adults & children! The amount of content can be a bit daunting, but give it a try.
Daniel and Andrew have been in contact with Home Group Leaders about connecting weekly with each of our congregants and asking for feedback once a week on how we can best meet the needs of people through prayer support or other physical or emotional needs as they are made know to us. It is our desire that each person feel valued, cared for, and a part of a bigger whole. We encourage each person to reach out to a few others in our midst during this time of isolation and people’s worlds being turned upside down. We never know someone else’s story or how things are impacting them unless we reach out and they are willing to risk opening up to share.
We ask that you would join us in prayer for Brett and Alise Nelson as Brett underwent brain surgery Thursday morning.
As we move through this time, we as a Leadership team remain open and available. Please contact anyone of us with stories about how you see God working around you, prayer requests, or any other support that we may be able to meet.
Love and Prayers,
Janice McDonald Board Chair
