Dear Church Family,

We invite you to join us in welcoming Pastor Reg (and Brenda) Toews during our post service Zoom session this Sunday, May 31 at 11:00 am. The link is Pastor Reg will be introducing himself and giving a brief overview of what his role among us will be. If you know of others in our church family who are not on our mailing list, please share this email with them.

Pastor Reg will be arriving in Prince George on Monday, June 1 to assume his role as our Transitional Pastor. We are very much looking forward to his leadership in this season. We are excited about what God will do in and through us as we walk through this time of healing, growth, and renewal.   Over the next week or two Pastor Reg would like to meet with as many small groups of people from our church family, outside, in a socially distanced appropriate way, for us to get to know them and for them to get to know us. At these meetings he will be sharing in more detail what his ministry looks like. Please contact Ester at the church office by email at [email protected] or by phone at 250‐563‐4473 to arrange a meeting.

We are very thankful to Pastor Dave MacPhee and the rest of the team at Northstar Church in Quesnel for making us feel supported and welcome as we’ve shared in their online services over the last several weeks. We will meet with them again this Sunday for their service at 10:00 am at The Leadership team is working toward having our own online services as soon as possible. We want to see familiar faces and have a way to interact with each other.

Our current needs remain. Please pray that we would continue to support the ministry of CFBC prayerfully and financially; and that just the right housing option would become available for Pastor Reg and Brenda to move into during their time in Prince George. We are able to receive donations by cheque, debit at the church office (which is open Tuesday – Friday 8:00 ‐4:00), e‐transfer to [email protected], or by setting up pre‐authorized withdrawals through Ester at the church office at 250‐563‐4473. As always, we want to thank our faithful supporters as they help carry us through this difficult time.

Because of the importance of this news and the fact that we are unable to meet on Sunday mornings, we are sending this email to everyone for whom we have an email address. If you do not wish to receive emails from the church, please respond with the word "Unsubscribe" in the subject line.

Love and Prayers,

Janice McDonald
