JD Desbiens served as Youth Pastor at Northstar Church in Quesnel for 5 years. (Northstar is a Fellowship Baptist Church.) Their family had a passion for sharing the gospel in the Cariboo Region during which time JD was invited to speak at Teen Camp at Ness Lake Bible Camp. He did that for 2 summers and through that ministry he became friends with members of the Prince George Christian community, and thus his connection to Central Fellowship. JD, who was born & raised in Quebec, has answered a call from Mission Quebec, which is an arm of the Fellowship Baptist Denomination in Quebec and served there for two and a half years. In spring of 2022 he accepted the position of Camp Director at Ness Lake Bible Camp. He is married to Naomi and their children are Madeleine, Elise and Sebastien.
