THIS SUNDAY -  Ben Eadie will be sharing with us about their work in Papua New Guinea. You will have an opportunity to ask them questions or hear more details during our potluck time, so come join us in person at 10:00 am or online at: Church Online  

POTLUCK REMINDER - On Sunday, July 6th, we will be having another potluck; this month's theme will be red and white in honour of Canada day. Please bring a dish to contribute with your church family, please let the office know what you intend on bringing, and if you can list allergy info on your dish (includes nuts, food dyes, dairy, etc.)

PASTOR JASON - will be away on vacation until Sunday, July 27th. If there is a need or emergency, please contact one of the Leadership Team members. 

INTER-CHURCH YOUNG ADULTS GATHERING - an inter-church young adults gathering that is being planned for Sunday, July 6 at 6:30 pm at Lheidli T'enneh. This will be a time of worship, fellowship, food, friends and prayer. If you have any questions, please contact Brad Mueller at Fort George Baptist Church at 204-572-7610. 

SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL - On Sunday, June 29th, we are starting our summer Sunday school program, which will be for kids aged 18 months to 6 years, held in the upstairs preschool room. Parents MUST sign in and sign out their children, but we will have activity packs for kids ages 7-12 years old that they can retrieve from an usher after the young ones are dismissed.

SMALL GROUPS - As we get into summer, we would like to encourage you to consider joining a small group this fall. We are always in need of leaders and hosts, and we believe firmly that the most effective way to build community and to grow spiritually is through connecting in a small group. Please speak to a LT member!

CFBC NEWSLETTER - If you know of someone who is new to the church, ask them if they signed up for our newsletter? Which can help them stay up to date with the church events and updates. Let them know they can sign up by talking to Chelsea Martin or by emailing office@centralfellowship.ca 

MEMBERSHIP - If you are interested in membership or have questions as to what membership is all about, please speak with someone from the Leadership Team. To put it briefly, membership fulfils our obligation as a non-profit, but more importantly, it speaks to our commitment to one another and allows each member to hold one another accountable to biblical principles. 

GIVING - Generosity has little to do with how much you have.  It has everything to do with the attitude of your heart and your faithful obedience to God. Generosity is one of those perspective-altering things…when we focus on the needs of others, we become less selfish and happier.  When you only think about the things you don’t have or how miserable things are, it’s tough not to feel bad.  But when you think about God’s goodness and grace, despite our own mess-ups, our perspective changes.
