THIS SUNDAY we are celebrating communion and Pastor Jason is continuing the series: “When Faith Doesn’t Work”. Why is it that when we’re going through a crisis God seems to be silent? This seems to be the experience of many who have gone before us. Why is this the case? What are we to do? Join us in person at 10 a.m. or watch Church online

SPRING PLANNING MEETING is next Sunday, June 11 following a potluck lunch. Bring food to share and stay to help plan for the fall. This is when we elect people to the Leadership Team and ministry coordinator positions and discuss our budget for fall. Meeting packages have been emailed to members, and copies are available in the foyer.

LIBRARY - check your sermon notes on Sunday for an insert with some summer reading suggestions from Cathy Joyce, our librarian.

BEN EADIE emailed us: Due to a lack of time, unfortunately we won't be able to visit CFBC on a Sunday this summer, although we wish we could. We will be in PG for a few days, we've been communicating with Patti Smith and Wendy Graham with that. Please pass on a warm hello and big thank you to CFBC for continuing to be a big part of allowing our family to serve with MAF in Papua! Download the June newsletter Eadie Update.

SUMMER LAWN MOWING - we need your help keeping our yard looking presentable this summer. Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to mow the lawn. There are still a few blank spots, so please sign up.

BABY BOTTLE CAMPAIGN - is the Benevolence initiative until June 18. All monetary donations designated ‘Benevolent’ will be given to Advokate’s Hope for Women or you can pick up an empty baby bottle from the foyer. Your donations directly impact women like Cassidy, who came to Hope For Women when she found out she was unexpectedly pregnant. She was fearful about her ability to raise her child and was vulnerable to the pull of abortion. As soon as Cassidy walked through our doors, she felt so welcomed and supported. “The people here are all so wonderful, informative and helpful. I went in terrified the first time, and every time since I feel more confident with my pregnancy and being able to raise my future child. They treat you like family, and honestly, they are all starting to feel like a second family.” Because of your support, Cassidy chose life for her baby. Every day we were able to help women like Cassidy find hope. Thank you for spreading the light and love of Christ in our communities across B.C.!

SAVE MONEY - on car rentals or insurance through Fellowship Canada’s partnerships with Enterprise/National Rentals, and D.L. Leeks Insurance. Information is available on the back table or contact the office.

GIVING is a form of worship.  It’s a way that we say thanks to God and serve our community.  But it’s also a matter of perspective – keeping us grounded in the things that really matter. You can place your gifts in the donation box in the foyer or use the debit machine there. You can also give via eTransfers or online at Give Online.
