SUNDAY - we are continuing through the Exodus series on the Ten Commandments, focusing on the Third Commandment: Taking God’s Name In Vain. What does this mean? Is it simply a warning to not use God’s name as a curse word, or is there more to the commandment? Join us at 10 a.m. or watch at Church Online.

LEADERSHIP TEAM - would like to thank all our brothers and sisters in this church body that gave so generously in the month of December. Not only were we able to provide hampers for those in need, but we also were able to bring ourselves into close alignment with our budget. Through our careful stewardship, your generosity, and God's faithfulness, we are excited and encouraged for this start of the new year! Please continue to maintain a posture of generosity and to pray for our church body, leadership, and the missionaries we support. We are grateful to count each and every one of you as our partners and fellow servants.

BAPTISM is an essential part of your spiritual journey in following Christ’s example; contact Pastor Jason if you would like to discuss this further as we look to put together a baptism class in the near future. We also would encourage you to become a member of CFBC, if you are not already. Membership, while not explicitly outlined in Scripture, is also an important aspect of discipleship as it allows us to hold one another accountable. Contact Pastor Jason or the Leadership Team (Andrew Martin, Doug Gairns) if you are interested.

LIBRARY Welcome back to your CFBC Library!  Beginning January 29th, you will once again be able to borrow materials.  Stay tuned for more information regarding how to sign out books, how to donate to the library, and other resources that are available to you.  "Reading gives us someplace to go when we have to stay where we are" - Mason Cooley.  Get ready to cozy up with a good book and do some armchair travelling!

SMALL GROUPS -While we love gathering on Sunday mornings to sing, pray and hear from Scripture, this is not all we are. As a church, we're actually a collection of smaller gatherings, called Small Groups that meet together during the week, learning to live and love like Jesus. We invite you to join a Small Group. Talk to Miriam Lawrence or Ester at the church office.

SNOW SHOVELING -Thank you to those who have been faithfully clearing our sidewalks. We need a few more people to fill in the slots for February and March. Talk to Dennis Lawrence or sign up on the bulletin board in the foyer.

FELLOWSHIP.CA - is offering adherents the option to use their corporate account to rent vehicles through Enterprise and National. Contact the office for details.

CHRONIC HEALTH ISSUES - is a booklet produced by Focus on the Family. If this is part of your story or the story of someone you know, you are not alone. Download this free 12-page PDF booklet to find stories of people who have learned to live with chronic illness – as an individual, as a spouse and as a parent – while putting their trust in God.

NESS LAKE BIBLE CAMP MARRIAGE WEEKEND - Come and enjoy a weekend of fabulous food, inspirational and entertaining sessions by Randy & Donna Carter, fun activities and time for each other. No uncomfortable group sessions - just guided conversations with you and your spouse. January 27-29. Register at Ness Lake.

PRAYER - We want to care for you! Email your prayer needs to prayer@centralfellowship.ca
