SUNDAY - Our guest speaker, Steve Wilson, will continue our series through the Ten Commandments, focusing on the Sabbath. Does the Sabbath apply to us today or is it only for Israel in the time before Christ? Join us in person at 10 a.m. or watch online at Church Online.

POTLUCK LUNCH next Sunday, February 5 after the morning service. Bring some food to share and enjoy visiting with others. If you are not already in a Small Group, this is an opportunity to join one.

We are excited to offer AUTHENTIC LIVING (Workbook 3) of FREEDOM SESSION in mid-February. This is a 10- week program that takes work and commitment. It is designed to be completed on its own, without having completed the Foundation 1 and 2 workbooks. This works well for people who have done Freedom Session before and want a refresher, or those who have already worked through things in their life and always want to grow as disciples of Christ and live that out. If you sense that God would like you to take a closer look at some of your past hurts, mistakes or secrets during the Authentic Living course, we plan to offer the Foundations 1 and 2 courses in the fall. Contact Janice McDonald or Doug Gairns for more information.

HONDURAS MISSIONS TRIP-Wendy Graham reports: It’s getting close to the time we head to Honduras and we are excited!  We have a team of four, three of whom are from CFBC.  Doug Gairns, Gordon Lawrence, myself, (Wendy Graham), as well as Nicki Gill from Kelowna will be flying from Calgary on February 19. The Lord willing, our work will include sealing a large cement roof, painting the front of the church, fluoride treatments with children in 3 schools,  visits to our sponsor kids (9 of them), installing some water filters, praying with those families, as well as participating in kids reading programs, Bible studies and church services. Your prayers are coveted! Please pray for smooth travels, health and safety, for our hosts Ralph and Aleda Gilmore. Most of all, pray that God will work in us and through us to make an impact for His glory in the lives of those we encounter.

OUR LIBRARY - Cathy Joyce has revitalized this space and we invite you to explore the books, videos and resources offered. Watch for an insert on Sunday for book suggestions. RightNow Media expands our library to include digital options such as Bible studies, discipleship videos and kids' content. Get access at RightNow Media-CFBC.

YOUTH FOR CHRIST BREAKFAST PROGRAM has been chosen for our February initiative by the Caring Team.  Any funds designated “Benevolent” during February will be used by YFC to purchase food items for their twice-weekly Breakfast Program at Duchess Park Secondary School.  You may recall last autumn’s visit from YFC’s Steve Swan, Executive Director, and Priscilla Mueller, Community Youth Worker. Priscilla is one of the missionaries we support. This Breakfast Program is one of the many ministries which YFC runs regularly.  We want to continue to be the Lord’s Hand, extended within our greater community in Prince George.  May YOU be blessed in your generosity towards others!

UPDATE  on Ryan Koher (a MAF pilot imprisoned in Mozambique) is available at Koher Update. Continue to pray for his speedy release and his family.
