IVCF BERGEN MISSION UPDATE - “This Fall has been an exciting one up at UNBC and CNC. It certainly has been busy preparing for maternity leave but with it has come many blessings. September began with a leadership retreat. The goal of the retreat was to grow confidence and equip the eight student leaders with evangelism, and leadership skills as well as build a foundation of prayer as they take on leading the fellowship for the year. But the highlight of this ministry season was our Fall Retreat we renamed, Gather and Scatter Weekend. With that, I'd like to invite you to pray for us in a couple of ways:
•Pray for our time of transition as we ready our home to welcome Baby Bergen
•Pray for the safe delivery of Baby Bergen (I think I'm at an appropriate level of fear and trust in Jesus but labor is highly unpredictable! I'm feeling pretty prepared for whatever may happen although not excited for the pain)
•Would you consider praying about supporting us monthly or increasing your support over the month of November? The rise of the cost of living has us looking at our need to continue with our fundraising but having a newborn has us trusting that God will provide for us.” More Info

FRIEND-RAISING DESSERT NIGHT - Echo Lake Bible Camp is holding a Dessert Fundraiser Evening on Saturday, November 18th from 6:30-8pm at Northside Church in Vanderhoof (3400 Voth Road).  Please come for a time of refreshments and fellowship, as well as an information/update time from camp.  You can help support camp by purchasing a dessert or a cash donation.  "Don't miss the sweetest event in town!"  We also have been asking for donations of desserts, to be eaten that night, as well as desserts for the auction.  We would like to clarify how to get those wonderful desserts to the venue: Northside Church will be open for people to deliver their delicacies from Noon on November 18.  If you will be attending and bringing the desserts when you arrive, would you please inform us earlier by calling Justina at 250-570-9284.  Also, if you have any questions or have trouble delivering them on Nov 18, you may also call that number. Thanks so much! Reserve your spot here: Register Here

GIVING - Because you give, we can hire staff, purchase supplies, purchase curriculum, and teach kids about Jesus. We’re teaching Bible stories to your children to lay a foundation for God’s actions in their lives.  We’re discipling people in their walk with Jesus. And your giving makes that possible. We’re so proud to be a part of a church that takes this mission seriously. You can place your gifts in the donation box in the foyer or use the debit machine there. You can also give via eTransfers donations@centralfellowship.ca or online at Give Online.
