    1. What has been your instinctive response to Revelation? Has it been interest, fear, confusion, avoidance? What experience helped shape that response?
    2. Read Revelation 1:1-3. How does understanding revelation as an unveiling or pulling back of the curtain change the way you approach this book?
    3. The book is called “The Revelation of Jesus Christ”. Why is that an important starting point? How might Revelation be misread if Jesus becomes a supporting character rather than its centre?
    4. It was suggested to use three questions for evaluating an interpretation:
      1. Does it help us see Jesus more clearly?
      2. Does it lead us to worship Jesus more deeply?
      3. Does it help us follow Jesus more faithfully?

    Think of an interpretation of Revelation you have heard. What did it make central and what kind of disciple was it likely to form?

    1. Revelation 1:3 promises blessing to those who read, hear, and keep its message. What is the difference between gathering information about Revelation and actually hearing it?
    2. What would it look like for you to “keep” the message of  Revelation this week? Identify one concrete response involving worship, courage, allegiance or faithful witness.
