THIS SUNDAY - Isaiah 55:6-9 says that God’s thoughts are higher than our thoughts. How might this speak of God’s heart for us? Join us in person at 10 a.m. or watch online at Church Online.

THE LEADERSHIP TEAM met on Wednesday to discuss how we can be intentional about discipleship, prepared for the Spring Planning Meeting on Sunday, June 11 and other items of church business. Please pray for them and consider where you can serve in the coming year. The church needs you.

AFFIRMATION OF FAITH - a message from your Leadership Team: In only TWO more days, the Fellowship survey regarding the Process for Change to the FEBCC Affirmation of Faith, will be closed for review, so please make your voices heard! This survey is intended for members of a Fellowship church and is a crucial opportunity for us to prayerfully reflect on what we believe, what is scriptural, and what is in need of updating in the Affirmation of Faith document put forth in the 1950s. Everyone we've talked to who has completed this has found it enjoyable and incredibly fascinating since it boldly proclaims our core, defining tenets as a particular Christian denomination. Put aside political and emotional biases and prayerfully consider what is Truth and Life in this document, based on the Living Word.

BAPTISM - Jesus set an example for us as an act of obedience with His own baptism. Pastor Jason would love to discuss this further with those who want to take this step in their faith journey. There will be a time of discussion on Sunday, May 7 after church. Lunch will be provided. Contact Pastor Jason to attend.

LIBRARY - Is there a book or a resource you’d like to see in our church library? Cathy Joyce will place an order soon and would love your feedback. Chat with her or contact the office.

APRIL BENEVOLENT INITIATIVE - designate your gifts to the Benevolent Fund by April 30 if you want to help sponsor children/teens to attend Ness Lake Bible Camp this coming summer!   This has the potential to be a life-changing summer for them.

BABY BOTTLES - For the month of May, the Caring Team Ministry has set its Benevolence Initiative to come alongside and bless Advokate Life and Education Services’ Baby Bottle Campaign.  All monetary donations designated ‘Benevolent’ during the month of May will be given to Advokate.  Or you can pick up an empty baby bottle to take home and fill it with loose change/paper money or a cheque made out “Advokate Life and Education Services”. Join us in being generous to Advokate’s Hope for Women Pregnancy Services here in Prince George.

TEACHER WANTED: If you are passionate about Christian Education and are a BC-certified teacher, Heritage Christian Online School wants to hear from you. The teacher would support home-educating families in the area and/or provide 1-day-a-week face-to-face classes in our Community Connections program. If interested, please contact Lisa Franco (lisa.franco@onlineschool.ca) or Nancy Gullason (ngullason@onlineschool.ca).

PRAYER - We want to care for you! Email your prayer needs to prayer@centralfellowship.ca
