SUNDAY - What did the Old Testament mean by “No Killing”? Is it that simple? Jesus taught that murder begins in the heart, but what does that mean? Join us this Sunday as Pastor Jason teaches on the 6th Commandment. Let’s meet in person at 10 a.m. or watch online at Church Online.

FAMILY DAY - everyone is welcome to go to Kuzma’s on Monday, February 20 from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. for fun time ice fishing on the lake and a hot dog lunch. Contact Terry Kuzma or Andrew Martin if you have any questions.

AUTHENTIC LIVING course (Workbook 3 of Freedom Session) will start on February 27. Sunday morning is your last chance to sign up. This is a 10-week program that takes work and commitment. It is open to everyone and will help you create a Life Plan; live authentically with others; take responsibility for your attitudes, judgements, and behaviours; share your story of finding healing, freedom, and purpose in life with others.

HONDURAS MISSIONS TRIP - Wendy Graham, Gordon Lawrence, Doug Gairns and Nicki Gill are leaving Calgary on February 19. Please pray for smooth travels, health and safety, for our hosts Ralph and Aleda Gilmore. Most of all, pray that God will work in us and through us to make an impact for His glory in the lives of those we encounter.

SMALL GROUPS TEAM - Miriam Lawrence has stepped down from this Team. We are grateful for the
passion and dedication she brought. Please contact the Leadership Team if you are interested in serving or know someone who would be a good fit for this ministry.

CHARITABLE DONATION RECEIPTS - for 2022 were sent by email on February 14. Please advise the office if you have not received yours or if you prefer a paper copy.

TURKEY-SYRIA EARTHQUAKE - Shelter, food, water, and winter weather needs are at the top of the list of immediate needs. Much of the infrastructure has been destroyed, so rebuilding will be a significant need. FAIR is responding by partnering with Fellowship International missionaries, and a like-minded organization well-equipped with personnel on the ground to provide immediate relief and ongoing rebuilding aid to some of the most marginalized groups in both countries. Donate at Earthquake Relief.

GIVING is a form of worship.  It’s a way that we say thanks to God and serve our community.  But it’s also a matter of perspective – keeping us grounded in the things that really matter. You can drop off your gifts in the donation box in the foyer or use the debit machine there. You can also give via eTransfers or Give Online.
