SUNDAY - we are continuing through the Exodus series on the Ten Commandments, focusing on the second commandment: idolatry. We will look at how it is an extension of the first commandment and what it means to worship an idol.

LEADERSHIP TEAM - met this week and discussed how to continue developing our mission and vision through Small Groups, baptism and membership. We are pleased that Cathy Joyce has agreed to be our library coordinator. Watch for the “grand opening” soon.

The Leadership Team of CFBC would like to thank all our brothers and sisters in this church body that gave so generously in the month of December. Not only were we able to provide hampers for those in need, but we also were able to bring ourselves into close alignment with our budget. Through our careful stewardship, your generosity, and God's faithfulness, we are excited and encouraged for this start of the new year! Please continue to maintain a posture of generosity and to pray for our church body, leadership, and the missionaries we support. We are grateful to count each one of you as our partners and fellow servants.

BAPTISM is an essential part of your spiritual journey in following Christ’s example; contact Pastor Jason if you would like to discuss this further as we look to put together a baptism class in the near future. We also would encourage you to become a member of CFBC, if you are not already. Membership, while not explicitly outlined in Scripture, is also an important aspect of discipleship as it allows each one of us to hold one another accountable. Again, please contact Pastor Jason or the Leadership Team (Andrew Martin, Doug Gairns) if you are interested.

SMALL GROUPS are a vital part of our church community. It’s a great way to dive deeper into the Bible, get to know each other better, and learn how to support each other. Contact the office for more information.
