CHRISTMAS HAMPERS - The delivery of 15 very large food hampers on Saturday, December 17 would not have happened without the gracious donations from so many of you! The many hands that helped pack and deliver the CFBC Christmas Hampers made the work light. It has been a blessing to brighten a few individuals' spirits in our community! This comes with thanks from the Caring Team Ministry - for your faithfulness, generosity, and constant caring.
EADIES - We'd like to pass on a prayer request for a MAF pilot named Ryan Koher. He and his family serve with MAF in Mozambique, and this past November he was detained by police while doing a routine flight to help an orphanage. For me, it's hard to imagine what his wife and kids (currently back in the States) must feel on a day-to-day basis. It is sobering to remember the dangers of some of the areas God calls us to serve, but also so important to be reminded that the cost is most certainly worth it. ROKEBY UPDATE - As you start this year, please take time to pray for Japan that God would awaken the hearts of the Japanese to the certainty that is found in Him. FAIR APPEAL - The Joy Foundation child sponsorship program offers holistic care to undocumented Haitian children living in the Dominican Republic. When Fellowship missionary Helene needs to take a shipment of groceries and supplies to the new program location in Puerto Plata, she must make three or four trips from Santiago to Puerto Plata, travelling over a mountain road in her small car. A larger, sturdier, and more reliable vehicle that is capable of driving the mountainous terrain of the interior area of the Dominican Republic, is needed. Donate at Joy Foundation Truck.
