THIS SUNDAY -  We are continuing our series on our values as a church. We’re looking at what it means to worship. Is worship limited to singing songs? If not, what else does it include? How do you worship God with your whole life?  You can come find out as you join us in person at 10:00 am or at Church Online.

SUNDAY SCHOOL IS BACK! We’re excited to kick off a new season of Sunday School starting this Sunday! Whether your child is just beginning their faith journey or growing deeper in it, we’ve got a place for them to learn, grow, and connect. Classes run during the regular Sunday service. Two classes are available weekly:
 Preschool (age 3) through Grade 1
 Grades 2 to 6 

YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL (Grades 7+)- Mark your calendars! Youth classes will be held on the following dates: October 12, 19, 26 • November 2 • December 7, 14, 21
Come join us as we explore God’s Word together in fun, age-appropriate ways. We can’t wait to welcome your family!

CHRISTMAS SHOEBOXES - We realize it’s early in the year but we’re looking to get a headstart on Christmas shoeboxes. If you’re interested please pick one up in the foyer!

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING - Our annual AGM will be held on October 19 immediately following the service. Please watch out for more information in the coming weeks.

MISSIONS UPDATE - Cristyn Bergen of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship shares an update and an opportunity to help with food for their student leadership orientation on September 20. She hopes to feed students both lunch and dinner that day. If you know can help, please email Cristyn

LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP - We will be hosting a leadership workshop put on by Fellowship Pacific on October 25 here at CFBC. We would like to encourage all our ministry coordinators to attend, as well as anyone else interested in serving here at CFBC. Please mark your calendar!

SMALL GROUPS - We would like to encourage you to join a small group this fall. We are always in need of leaders and hosts and we believe firmly that the most effective way to build community and to grow spiritually is through connecting in a small group. Please speak to a LT member!

CFBC NEWSLETTER - If you know of someone who is new to the church, encourage them to sign up for our newsletter. It can help them stay up to date with the church events and updates. Sign up by  emailing the office.

MEMBERSHIP  - If you are interested in or have questions about membership, please speak with someone from the Leadership Team. Briefly, membership fulfils our obligation as a non-profit, but more importantly it speaks to our commitment to one another and allows each member to hold one another accountable to biblical principles. 

GIVING - For God so loved the world that He gave…Giving is an act of love. We give because God first loved us and he freely offers us salvation.  Your donation helps us spread the message of God’s love. You can give via eTransfers or give online.
