THIS SUNDAY -  We are continuing our series on our values as a church. We’re looking at prayer. What is it and why should we pray? Is there a certain way to pray? What do we do when it feels like our prayers aren’t answered? You can come find out as you join us in person at 10:00am or at Church Online.

SUNDAY SCHOOL IS BACK! We’re excited to kick off a new season of Sunday School. Whether your child is just beginning their faith journey or growing deeper in it, we’ve got a place for them to learn, grow, and connect. Classes run during the regular Sunday service. Two classes are available weekly:
    Preschool (age 3) through Grade 1
    Grades 2 to 6 
YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL (Grades 7+)- Mark your calendars! Youth classes will be held on the following dates: October 12, 19, 26 • November 2 • December 7, 14, 21
Come join us as we explore God’s Word together in fun, age-appropriate ways. We can’t wait to welcome your family!

MEMORIAL SERVICE for Dean Olsen will be held on Saturday, October 4 at 1:30pm here at CFBC. Please come and support the family through this difficult time.

MISSIONS UPDATE - Ben Eadie asks for prayer for some health concerns and says: I want to give a special thank you to each one of you that opened up your homes to us this past summer, it was so good to reconnect with ya'll and spend time together (you know who you are). But now, we are thankful to be home and back into our routines of life, school and work here in Sentani. Read the full update.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING - Our annual AGM will be held on October 19 immediately following the service. Please watch for more information in the coming weeks.

LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP - We will be hosting a leadership workshop put on by Fellowship Pacific on October 25 here at CFBC. We would like to encourage all our ministry coordinators to attend, as well as anyone else interested in serving here at CFBC. Please mark your calendar!

CHRISTMAS SHOEBOXES - We realize it’s early in the year but we’re looking to get a headstart on Christmas shoeboxes. If you’re interested please pick one up in the foyer!

SMALL GROUPS - We would like to encourage you to join a small group this fall. We are always in need of leaders and hosts and we believe firmly that the most effective way to build community and to grow spiritually is through connecting in a small group. Please speak to a Leadership Team member!

CFBC NEWSLETTER - If you know of someone who is new to the church, encourage them to sign up for our newsletter. It can help them stay up to date with the church events and updates. Sign up by  emailing the office.

MEMBERSHIP - If you are interested in or have questions about membership, please speak with someone from the Leadership Team. Briefly, membership fulfils our obligation as a non-profit, but more importantly it speaks to our commitment to one another and allows each member to hold one another accountable to biblical principles.
